Do you ship your items fresh?
Yes, we want to make sure your item is as fresh as it would be if you bought it from a local bakery. We ship your items the same day that they are baked.
What are my shipping options?
Because most of our products do not use preservatives and are perishable, they typically require 2nd or overnight delivery. We utilize a network of high quality bakeries who have extensive experience in making sure your products arrive fresh and on time. Your specific shipping options may vary by product depending on the bakery where your item is being shipped from.
Why do some products have different delivery dates available?
Just as our partner bakeries offer different shipping options, they also have their own rules for when an item can be delivered to ensure the product you receive tastes as fresh as if you bought it from a local bakery.
Where do you ship?
Currently, we only offer shipping services within the United States. Depending on the product, extra charges may be applied for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. Additionally, products being shipped to rural locations may be assessed an additional $10.00 delivery surcharge.
Can I ship your products to multiple addresses in one transaction?
Yes, our system will allow you to select "Ship Items to Multiple Addresses" within your shopping cart for you to split up your selections and ship them to different addresses.
Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
No, most of our products are perishable and therefore need to be delivered to street address.
Do you deliver to colleges, hospitals and businesses?
Many schools and businesses have their own receiving departments for incoming deliveries and do not allow deliveries to be made directly to individuals by 3rd party carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.). We guarantee delivery to the mailroom or receiving department of these locations but since our products are perishable, it is recommended that you find out as much information regarding their mailing center to ensure your gift will arrive in a timely manner.
Can I specifiy a future delivery date?
Yes, simply use the calendar on the product page prior to adding the item to your cart. Once selected, your items will arrive on the date your specified or sooner.
Can I add a personal gift message to my order?
Yes, please do. We give you the option to provide a gift message for each address you ship an order to.
How do I track my package?
Once your products are shipped, we will email you a tracking number for you to track your shipment(s).
If no one is home to accept delivery, will my item be left at the front door?
This depends on the location. If the shipping location is deemed "safe to leave" by the driver, it will be left at the door step. However, they most likely will not leave packages in large cities, apartments and other areas that are easily accessible by the public. If the package is unable to be left outside, the shipping company will leave a note letting the recipient know a delivery attempt has been made.
